The Neo-Geo, also called Neo-Geo Advanced Entertainment System or Neo-Geo AES, is a video game console released in 1990.
Designed by the Japanese company SNK, it is technically identical to the Neo-Geo MVS arcade system, with which it shares a common game library. The console is known for its library of quality 2D arcade games, many of which are fighting games, as well as for its very high price and its very long life. Considering its price and its characteristics compared to the competing consoles of the same period, it is considered by some observers as the "Rolls Royce" of consoles.
The Neo-Geo is known for its quality games that continue to be enjoyed many years after their release. Among the hundred and fifty games released, several game series stood out:
